Ubisoft have announced their Free-To-Play 100 Player Battle Royale during Ghost Recon’s 20th anniversary livestream.
Ghost Recon Frontline is a free-to-play PvP shooter that supports up to 100 players in team-based combat across a large, open battleground.
Yes, it’s another battle royale although it has an extraction feature akin to games like Hunt Showdown.
Ghost Recon Frontline promises to take it back to it’s FPS roots unlike Wildlands and Breakpoint which are Third Person Shooters. It’s also set to feature and advanced class system that allows players to upgrade and customize their characters.
The main mode in the game is called “Expedition” and will put 102 players in teams of three against each other to gather intel, complete objectives and ultimately extract from the map.
